My preference would be the mini mill for the ability to do not only prototype work, but should the opportunity present itself, production runs as well.

Without a doubt the enclosed machine.
Unless your making your parts out of SS then you will want to keep things inside where there is much less mess.
I would much rather go with a VF2 or 3 if I could.

I have a friend that had a TM-1P Enclosed machine for sale. I think it was a 2007 full enclosure with LOW hours. I am not sure if he has sold it yet or not. He is currently living in Iowa.
