I have a 2005 Haas SL-10 lathe and have not used the parts catcher in a few months. I try to cycle the parts catcher door with the M36 and M37 codes and it will slowly raise and takes 10 minutes to drop back down. This has given me problems in the past but usually after a few cycles and me working the door manually it works itself out.

Wondering if the mac valve solenoid is the culprit or I have heard that the fitting near the air cylinder has a hole in it to bleed off pressure to make the door close and can get fouled up. Anyone heard of this or experienced a similar problem?

Thanks, Scott Merry Christmas!

I've got an 02. It has the air cylinder positioned with the plunger rod and bushing facing up. Coolant eventually finds it's way into the cylinder through the bushing and into the air line. Every once in a while I have to take the air line off and cycle the parts catcher to blow the coolant out of the line.
