Anyone have any experience with a VF3YT?

I was told they are built on a VF5 casting which sounds good, but I assume the extra y travel means the spindle is farther away from the column. Does this make the machine substantially less rigid?

I've only seen the VF3YT with 50 taper.
They were running a 80mm insert drill in steel, and the loudest noise was the chips hitting the enclosure.
It seemed very stable, at least for being a HAAS.
And being based on a VF5 was confirmed by the sales director in Europe.
