I have a small thumb drive and it works fine on my new TM1, but when I tried a new 2G device, it will not recognize it. Haas said some versions would not accept a large drive. How large? How small is OK? What gives? Anyone else run across this and is there a work around?

Also some thumb drives have whats basicly a compression built into them. My sony's will not work in Haas since they have a type of winzip imbedded in them. I found the cheap sandisc drives work the best.

Problem fixed

While talking to another Haas applications person, about a different problem, I mentioned the USB issue. He said to insert the USB, call it up, (it said could not read device), then go back to memory, cycle power, then go back to the USB, and it worked. So cycling power with the USB device installed reset it.
