Would a Haas be good for my job shop?

We are thinking again about a Vmc. Our shop does zero aluminum ,mostly CI, mild steels and some SS on the larger size. I'm thinking of a late 90's or very early 2000's Vf-5 or 6 with a cat 50 taper. Right now the only other Cnc we have is a large HBM with a very user friendly hedi 530 control. How conversational is a Haas control. It may sound stupid but the main reason I want a vmc is to use it for drilling and or taping bolt circles as we just had to eat a job since our manually laid out and radial arm drill was not accurate. I also like the Haas as it seems to be well supported.

Surely would get more views/replies in the cnc forum.
Anyhow, if the work you're turning away, plus what else you might be able to get, justifies the VMC, can't hurt to get one. For used machines they do seem like they'd be easier to get service/parts from than some other builders.
