"Intimate" question about Haas servo drive operation/design

Need to know if the Haas servo drives (age within the last 6-7 years)
operate with typical +/-10VDC analog input signals, or if they use "step and direction" signals. Are the drives built by Haas or are they private label?

I assume the servo motors have been brushless for some time now?
Any idea when they went to brushless motors?
Motor manufacturer brand?

I'm pretty sure that they do not use step and direction. I believe that's only used with stepper motors but I might be wrong on that.
Haas switched from DC to AC servos in 1996. The DC were brush type and the AC are brushless. There were some less expensive Haas machines produced in 1996 that still used the DC servos. I don't remember right now what their designation was.
