how to zero the operator position display

I am trying to zero the x,y,and z axis on the operator position display on a ec400. On my 2004 vf2 you can just toggle thru the position displays until you get to operator display and then type say the X axis then origin. This doesnt seem to work on this machine. Any help would be appreciated.

You don't say what year your EC is, but try not typing the axis before hitting origin. Instead, go to the operator page, select a jog axis, then hit origin. Works on my '97 VF.

The EC should do it the same as any other machine. Double check exactly what you are typing and what buttons are being pushed.

2011 ec 400 and it has multiple pane display

in mdi mode I pressed the f1 button and the large position display came up then toggle thru them till i got to the operator display. From there you can change operator reference positions just like my 2004 vf2.
