Its there an axis override switch on the Hass to move the machine from its limit switch?
Today something occur under the homing procedure that was not normal.
The Z&Y axis when to the plus side , but the x axis when to the minus side causing the machine to lock up.
This is a Hass TPM-1 mill 2 1/2 years old thats never giving a problem. We purchased it new and has been well taking care off.
Could a control macro gone corrupted or limit switch gone bad?
I will be calling HASS tomorrow for help.
If anyone come across this problem that can help?
Thanks
Luis

Most likely an issue with the limit switch. If you have a proximity switch, then most likely a chip has settled on top of it. If you have an older roller style switch, then it is most likely stuck.

Hi Luis,

Hope Haas was able to get you back up and running. Like haastec mentioned, I have heard of a piece of debris getting on the proximity switch and causing issues. Hopefully, it will be a simple fix.

The whole problem was caused by a dirty proximity switch on the right side of the table. Removed the right side table cover and cleaned switch underneath. To verify that all switches are working correctly. Look on the diagnostic input page they should all (X Y Z) read “0” . If it reads “1” they need to be cleaned otherwise the machine wont home.
To bypass the home process and move the machine by handle activate parameter#53. Be careful to move to correct position or you can damage the ball screw.
Easy fix!
