Am I the only one with a Hardinge HLV -BK rear splash guard?

I'm the new owner of a Hardinge HLV-BK toolroom lathe.
It came with a rear spash guard which I think is a stock Hardinge part.

At least it has all the fitments and is a custom fit for the lathe. I searched everywhere for other HLV lathes with the same splash guard and did'nt find a single picture.

I wonder if my splash guard is, or isin't orginal Hardinge? I'm in the process of painting the guards and will post more pics when it done.

Sorry, but I don't know how to rotate some of the pictures.

I'd guess that was shop-made. Nicely, but not a stock part.

It's a home-made job.

You don't have a coolant spray attachment so why use the splash guard. You will prevent a few curls of metal from dropping to the floor. Is that large guard worth it?

The coolant pump is visible at the back of the chip tray even though the post that holds the nozzle isn't bolted to the cross slide.
