Bridgeport BMDC 2 Board

Does anybody know where I can get another BMDC 2 board from someone other than Hardinge? I sent one out for repair to ACI Industrial and they lost it.

Try EMI Inc. Phone number is 610-287-4240. They took over the spares and repair from BPT. Most likely you will get a BMDC3 for replacement. I may have a spare in my stock that I will let go for 2/3 of there cost.

Hopefully you can document the fact that ACI los the board - Why? Because the outright purchase of a BMDC board will probably cost a LARGE FORTUNE.

The "sorry, we lost it" simply won't cut it - especially not with something as hard and pricey to find as a BMDC card!!!!

Make sure it's the board and not the software!!!
BPT had about a Gazillion versions of software,not to mention Board "updates".
Post a Picture of the board . Is it from a Romi,Trak, or VMC .
I have some parts and may fix it for free(plus postage) if you can ID
I also have lots of software too ... free to a good home

If you ever get it back of course. You may be looking at $2,000 or more. Check ebay ... maybe someone has a damaged machine (boat anchor) that they stripped.
Unless you are very skilled and have lots of patience get a tech to install.

FWIW: I contacted MACHINESUPPORT SERVICES.COM and they categorically deny being capable of doing any BMDC service work.
