Brigeport Series2 Interact2 Spindel Problems

Could you help me to solve the following problem ?
I have to replace the shaft bearings of my Bridgeport because of excessive play but I don't know whether the lower screw joint is left-handed or right-handed thread. I managed to release the aft screw but I had no success to unscrew the so called 'nose pice' with my hook wrench.
Does anybody know a source for the bearings "Fafnir M206KDD"+ "Fafnir JM207KDD", preferable in Germany ?
Or does anybody know an alternative replacement for those bearings ?
Are those bearings pre-loaded ?
Where may I get service manuals and/or an explosion view of my CNC Head Series2 Interact2 , Erickson 30 ?
I really appreciate your answers.
Greetings out of Germany,
Tom

Have you dropped the quill a couple of inches and remove the set screw on the back of the quill? It is there to prevent the quill nose from backing out.

The nose peice is a right hand thread. Any good bearing supply house should be able to get replacement bearings, they are class 7 precision angular contact sealed bearings.
