Having a problem with Bridgeport 412

Just set this machine up... Keep getting message "Tool Def Missing"... Can't get to tool list... Have reloaded the parameters...

Anyone have experience with an Interact 412 with Heidenhain 151 controller???

can you do a tool def within the program?

I have not run a 151 with a toolchanger

there must be a parameter for a tool table on/off

in the dim reaches of my brain I am thinking you need to find the tool table format and enter a program with the suffix.t

parameter 225 change to 0 should enable tool def within program until you figure out how to create a tool table

I run one everyday,

It looks as you did not load the information for the tool...

for example:

Tool Number
Length
Radius

That should do it...

if not send me the program and I can help with it.
