I just recieved this from Lubriplate:

We do still manufacture the Lubriplate No. 107, however the product we recommend for Bridgeport machines is the Lubriplate No. 105. The Lubriplate B-105 (B standing for Bridgeport) is a 1 .75 oz. tube that screws right into the machine.

I just looked at the Lubrication Plate on my Bridgeport 2J2 and the recommended recommended lube for the Vari-Drive is Lubriplate No. 107. After I compare the specs I'll probably start using Lubriplate No. 105.
Thanks for the info!

On the Bridgeport 2J2 Variable Speed Head it lubricates the Vari-Drive. On my 2J2 it states to remove the 5/16-24 Set Screw "A" located on the left side of the Vari-Drive and screw in the tube of Lubriplate #107 (now #105?). Then you squeeze in approx 1/2 teaspoon of the Lubriplate. Your supposed to do that every 6 months. You should also work the HI-LOW Lever while greasing the Vari-Drive.
