Hello All,

Well, after fixing an electrical cord problem in my model 90 Servo table power unit, it has let out its magic smoke. So Wondering what is a decent replacement? I see 140, 150, and 200 units available- but no clear assessment of which one to go with.

My mill is a 1980’s Bradford - early Bridgeport Clone. The model 90 work just fine on the table - Cept it doesn’t work anymore.

thinking about sending it off for repair. But I know it’s obsolete.

Which one is a decent replacement? Cost is a (big) factor...

Thanks

Glenn

The Servo 200 is designed specifically for the knee. The 150 has a finer feed control and is more expensive to buy/repair than the 140. The 140 and 150 basically use the same motor and have the same basic concept.

Typically, we see guys running the 150 on the X, 140 on the Y (if at all), and a 140 or 200 on the knee.

If cost is a big factor, then you are probably gonna be looking at an import. The Servo Products brand is made outside of Cleveland.
