Default Bridgeport Maintence and model

Hey guys i got what i think is an old bridgeport J head mill i have sevral questions. first what maintence do i need to do on it. What i know is add oil to the 2 cups, oil "i think its called the backgear lever or knob or something" and oil the ways because the one shot lube is no longer workingdue to the clogged lines. also were can i get a manual for it. finnaly ive heard some confusing imformation ive heard people say it has zerk fittings and some people say it doesnt. Ive also heard people arguing wheter to ad oil or grease to these fittings any one have any idea on this one

Powerfeeds are so useful but they never quite work the same after some idiot using the rapid traverse rams it into a steel table and breaks the circuit board

Clean and lube it according to the instructions. There are some threads here on unclogging the lube system (search on Bijur).

Your Bridgeport has a one shot system so the zerk fittings were removed and replaced with the hose fittings. In either case the correct lube is way oil and not grease.
