Thread: Hardinge HC Turret Timing?

I just picked it up today and am super excited to use it. However, the turret is giving me problems when I try to cycle through tools. When I pull the leaver down to advance the next tool the turret only moves a fraction of what it should. If I push the leaver back up towards the lock position and then down again some of the time it will turn the turret to the next position. Other times it will work decently for about one full rotation of the entire turret but even then I need to be very deliberate in the action of the leaver and cycle it slowly. The machine did not come with a manual and I don't want to just start aimlessly trouble shooting it. The best way to simply describe what is happening is that it feels like the drive mechanism is not fully engaging. Anyone ever deal with this issue? Any help would be great.
