Thread: Spindle Bearing Grease?

Hi
Anybody know what kind of grease to use for the spindle bearings in a Bridgeport? I have been told to only fill them halfway with grease bit not what kind low temp, medium temp, high temp???Thanks for any help. T

Kluber isoflex 15 i think is the greese we used for spindle bearings. About 15cc per bearing.

i thought the spindle bearings were oil lubricated by one of the cups, at least the ones on mine are. the manual says to use 10w oil.

Unless you have one of the sealed spindles, you should be using oil. I use ISO-32 hydraulic oil.
