Default BobCAD/CAM instructional videos and text book..any good?

    Hello,

We just bought a small CNC router and it came with V24 BobCAD/CAM as part of the purchase price. I am trying to find out if the $400 training videos and text book from BobCAD are worth the money for someone new to CAM? There is a lot to learn, and the instructional DVD that came with V24 is pretty weak.

Any feedback about the training book and videos from people who have used them would be appreciated.

When you purchase BobCAD CAM software it comes with a getting started CD. This CD will help you setup the software. These same videos can be found on our website.

If you are looking for some additional information to help you get going with the software you can also download some tutorials off our website.

We also host a weekly training session that is free every Tuesday and Thursday. You can sign up using the following link

    Webinars | BobCAD-CAM

What customers tell me about our training videos is they like them. They cover 2D drawing 2D machining, 3D drawing and 3D machining. It's a 10 disk box set and will walk you through the software A-Z. If you don't want to learn the CAD side sample files come with the CD set so you can focus just on CAM.

Now if you only want to learn about spcefic parts of the software and can't afford the $400 box set we do have training webinar videos you can purchase for $50 a topic. To learn more about our training webinars use this link: Support & Training Products | BobCAD-CAM

When it comes to training on BobCAD CAM software we have lots of options for you to choose from. I do recommend you work with the software on your own and come up with a list a questions you want covered. You can always post your questions here and I would be more than willing to create short videos explaining how to use the BobCAD CAM software.
