bobcad v25 post processor call next tool

bobcad v25

Hi Everyone, Happy new year. working on a new to us cnc machine that i can prep the next tool in the tool changer ie:

T1 M6
T2

problem is I cant seem to find a variable to post the next tool, I have searched multiple post processors hoping that one of them use it but none do, any ideas?

On my V29 post it is ,T,next_tool,

This video has it covered as well, it was one of the topics for covered in last weeks webinar.

Al,the documentation on post variables was not included in V25.

Starting with V26 till now it is included.

I would of posted it here,but did not know if that would be a good idea.

hi and thanks for the response, this got me on the right track but I had to add a "force_no_add_spaces" so it looked like:

n,"T",force_no_add_spaces,next_tool

what i did notice after is that the end of the program was calling up the first tool again with "n,first_tool_with_prefix,"M06"" so I tried a "n,next_tool_with_prefix" which also worked without having to add the "force_no_add_spaces" thanks for the help
