I am looking for a dxf to dwg convertion software, that dont cost an arm and a leg.

But DXF is AutoCAD's own open source Data eXchange Format. If the DXF file won't import, it is corrupt, or a non-compliant file made by another software package.

why do you need dwg, it has the info you need?

unless you want the polylines to splines? but turning it into a dwg wont make them splines, they will still be polylines and you would have to make your own splines over the top.

you could get acad lite?

Have you tried to open the DXF with AutoCAD? I never had a problem opening one in AutoCAD. Are you sure that you are talking about DXF?

The dxf was for a newer ver. of acad. I got to work with 2002. I was using 14
