Dell Precision M6600 REVIEWS?

I had one with an I7-2860 processor. It was pretty fast. You will want a solid state hard drive which will cost you another $150. Make sure the graphics card is working. Some had an AMD 8900 graphics card that had a lot of problems. I think you would be better off waiting for a M6800.

I don't know about the 6600 specifically, but I currently have a Precision M6800, and in the past have had at least 2 other precision laptops. All worked fine. Good performance, but bit heavy when traveling. All of mine have been the 17 inch versions with i7 cpu's, battery life blows, especially for CAD/CAM, if that matters.

We had to replace the hard disk on one of them after about 3 years of use because it became defective.

Make sure it can run 64 bit Win 7 or 10 as nobody in CAM world supports 32 bit OS.
