I took a cad/cam class back around 91/92 maybe and the college used it. I hated it and around then we purchased featurecam at work and never looked back.

procam to camworks
Procam is an older version of Camworks. They do not make Procam anymore. Camworks is the replacement and is very easy to use and user friendly. I never used Procam but have been using Camworks for about seven years. The Camworks website has some info on Procam. They also have some info on the user forum but you have to be a member to see them.

We are (finally) in the process of switching from ProCAM to something newer, and better.
As stated by A.J. , ProCam is no longer supported.
You will not get any help from TekSoft for it.
It is an easy to use program and I like it well enough for what we did, but it is no longer good enough.
Do not waste your time with it.
Get something you can still get help and support for.
