I want to pick a rectangle and place the first point and then be able to incrementally type in the X & Y of the next point. Is that possible? I'd also like to have it modified to do that as a default.

I'd also like to draw a circle using the diameter, each time. Now, it uses the diameter for the first time and when I go to repeat the circle command it changes to the radius. ???

Any help I get will be very nice.

Stan,

IIRC you can do the same thing in 2000, unfortunately I currently only have access to 2012.

For your first question you have 2 options.
1. x.xx,y.yy for your start and x.xx,y.yy for the 2nd point
2. pick first point and @x.xx,y.yy to define the width and height of the box

for the 2nd question, I don't know of a setting for always getting diameter, so my SOP is pick center, type `D' and enter diameter.

Hope that helps,
Rich C.

For 2nd question.

You have to change the macro for the circle command from the default ^C^C_circle to ^C^C_circle \_d to make it just like the command for circle, center, diameter. In 2011 this is done thru CUI under the tools/customize menu. 2000 may not have this menu and will have to be done thru the MNS file in your acad support folder.
