reinstalled Solidworks and I dont remember how to change the default units.(need it to default on inches)

I know how to change the units, but I have to redo it every time I open Solidworks. Did it the first time I installed it but can't remember now.

Open an empty part file and set up everything the way you like it and then save that as a part template file.

Thanks, I was thinking I changed it in the menu before opening file.

When you reinstalled, you didn't set your default units to what you wanted. what you need to do now is create a part, assembly and drawing templates to the units you want, then save each one in the template folder, so when you start a part, assem or drqwing you can pick the template you need.

one thing you should do is always make a backup folder of all your template just in case you need to reinstall or install on another computer.
