Are there any Free places to download pre made cad models for things such as vises, clamp kits, fixturing components etc?

Reid Tools has downloadable CAD files of many of their components as do some of the other suppliers (Carr-Lane, Jergens eyc.). The TraceParts web site might also have some useful files but it seems to be oriented mostly toward Eurpopean/Asian suppliers.

3D content Central is also a good repository for many manufacturers as well as having user generated content.
