Software for using a VMC as a lathe

So I have run several round parts in a collet,Only doing this occasionally the programming gets rather confusing.

it would really be great to simplify this process has anyone heard of software for an application like this?

I think you could do this with almost any CAM with post editing capabilities. I do this routinely in OneCNC, setting up the post wasn't a big hassle. Even simulation works pretty well with a little tweaking.

I do it in mastercam all the time. just draw your profile and run the toolpath with no tool offset. You just need to create a workplane with the bottom as the top. (since your parts in the spindle, everything is upside down)
