Solid Works + Shadows in Shaded Mode

I know it's unnecessary, but I like to see shadows in Shaded mode. Problem is, it doesn't seem to work on my larger assemblies. Am I doing something wrong or is it that my video card can't keep up? It's a Quadro FX 1800. Will an even more expensive card get me my shadows?

According the the SW website, your card will support all real view graphics. Try downloading the updated graphics card driver from the website and try it out.

Sometimes the shadow can be upside down and the model wont cast a shadow unless its upside down too. To reset the shadow, try to disable and re-enable shadows when your model is positioned the way you want it. Otherwise i don't know.
