Default Surfcam "SYNTAX ERROR OR VIOLATION" when I click "SELECT TOOL" in drill cycle...

I am using Surfcam velocity 5.1 B302. When I attempted to select a reamer from the metric tool table in the Select Tool window, I got a pop-up window that says "Syntax error or access violation and it will not let me select any drill tools from any table now. This happens every time I click Select Tool in the Hole Process form.
I can, however, select tools from the Mill form when I program a milling tool path.

Our maintenance is expired right now and can't be renewed for a few weeks yet...so no help from software distributor.

Anyone have any ideas? Also, I already rebooted my computer...still have same problem.

    Thank you for any help!

Call me at 480-205-3330 and I'll try to help you.

I'll be WI tomarrow morning, flying tonight at 6:40pm AZ time.

Sounds like you have something corrupted your access data base.

Have you tried to run a repair from the cd?

you could also try a system restore to a date that it still worked, that may fix it also.

or last but not least a uninstall and reinstall.

    Happened with me before.
Open your DRILLTLB.MDB file in Microsoft Acess. And look for unusual stuff in there.
IE: Tool recors with the same number. Usually it accidently adds same record number when you have 2 or more instances of Surfcam running.

Locate the problem and Delete the record.

Or Find a working file and replace thwe bad one with it.
I am not sure i can upload it here tho....might violate some copyright BS. and i get banned
