Switching to SolidWorks from GeoMagic (Alibre).

I have a friend that is been using GeoMagic, (Alibre), and is possibly taking a job that requires SolidWorks. Will this be a difficult transition or are GeoMagic and SolidWorks fairly similar?

I've not used SW myself, but folks on the GeoMagic forum that use both claim that it is not hard to move from one to the other.

I have the latest releases in both GeoMagic and Solidworks and with both of them. He shouldn't have any problem switching back and forth between them. SolidWorks is more polished, but I usually open up Geomagic.
