Hi everyone, can anyone assist me in how to go about trimming \ editing surfaces in alphacam? As an example imagine a letter D as a projected geometry onto a curved surface which is extruded upwards such that it becomes an embossed letter.
I then need to have a surface on the letter because after extruding it it is only the outer and inner geometries that are extruded. If I do a flat surface it completely fills the area from the outer geometry and then another one completely filling the inner geometry. I then need to trim \ edit those two surfaces to leave the surface just on the letter itself but as I am a newbie to 3D I am struggling. help please......
