CNC Machinist/Operator Part Time -- Long Lake, MN

We have an immediate need to fill some production hours at our facility. -We are an contract manufacturing in the aerospace industry. We are looking for part time production help. 15-20 hours a week.

The machines you would be running are mazak and doosan verticals, and mazak horizontals.

We have a couple machinist positions. We are trying to grow our second shift, so the first position is full time second shift. We are trying to establish a weekend shift, so the second position is part time flexible weekends.

Our company is a family owned machine shop specializing in the aerospace industry. We strive to be an industry leader through integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement.

We deal predominately in aluminum bar stock and castings. All of our parts can easily be carried with one hand, and are made within a work envelope of 30" x 20" x 10". We frequently hold tolerance of ±.0002.

Full time second shift:

Key responsibilities:
All operations needed to mill parts to print (tool changes, offsets, set ups, etc).
Discuss load procuedures and set up instructions with engineering for proper documentation.
Complete in process inspections using a variety of inspection equipment

Key qualifications:
1 year or more of machining experience
Ability to read and interpret prints
Basic math skills
Able to stand for extended periods of time

Hours and benefits:
Monday thru Thursday 2pm-12am
Health and dental
401k after one year
Wage: DOQ


Part time weekend shift:

Key responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the position is to operate milling machines with minimal supervision.

Key qualifications:
5 years or more of machining experience
Ability to read and interpret prints
Basic math skills
Able to stand for extended periods of time

Hours and benefits:
Firday thru Sunday flexible hours after 12pm
Wage: $30 per hour
