Yes it does.

"Nothing to see here folks, please move along"

For some reason, when I make an edit to the thread, it is removed. I assume a moderator has to approve it before it goes public?

Never the less, we are only searching for "WORLD CLASS CNC MACHINISTS" so its best to keep your comments to yourself if you're not up to spec.

I know what WCM (World Class Manufacturing) as a standard is but not sure what "WORLD CLASS CNC MACHINISTS" is.
Thinking many here fit that bill but some are one offs and others are production.
Welcome aboard and all that....... but you are going to go with "keep your comments to yourself if you're not up to spec."
You might turn a few off a bit.
I may not know all about machining but I know I don't like to be insulted.
Bob

I hope the OP is aware that "world class" in anything means 10k and way up in salary, per month.

Such people are found everywhere and they make the early test models and protos for companies like dyson, spacex, big auto, modern windmill components, nasa, boeing, ariadne, machine tool builders, robotics companies etc.

A starting salary at spacex or tesla for engineers is 200k$ per year. + 50-100k in stock options over 4 years.
Online at glassdoor, if you want to check.
HTH.

OP a bit. I know a young man from Spain who would love to go to work as a machine maintenance man. He already knows how to scrape, read micrometers, indicators, is a top rate mechanic.

Because he doesn't have an advanced degree and he tried to come into the USA on a student visa they discovered he was going to work as an apprentice at a rebuild shop by checking his email on his cell phone. So they turned him around at an airport, denied entry to USA and now I believe he is screwed.

He is a smart, young, single, 25 year old and can learn anything I am sure fast and if you have the time to train him I bet he would love to live down there if he can make it thru your customs. If anyone down under or Hamermo if you need a young apprentice willing to learn anything...PM me and I will give you his info

...and yet, with the "New & Improved" posting up, still no indication of MONEY !

"Money talks, and bull$shit walks" is a saying that comes to mind.

"Join a premier team, strive for greatness and make a difference to the world"

Not very proud of your pay, so you hide it eh ?

Yup.
I think.

Anyone looking for top-shelf talent always quotes a range of salary, high.

You come to our site with a carnival barker ad, can't post properly, then tell someone to shut up? Are you trying to piss us off?

When were the tryouts? Will there be any qualifying events in the near future?

I took second place at the national mountain bike championship in 2005. For my age group. In the sport category. And I'm a CNC machinist. Does that count as being a world class CNC machinist?

Now that I think of it, I AM a professional machinist. In most sports, being a professional generally equates to being considered world class. Since that should qualify me, I guess the only question left is, would I even consider working for this tool?

No.

world-class
ˈwəːldklɑːs/
adjective
adjective: world-class; adjective: worldclass

(of a person, thing, or activity) of or among the best in the world.

Thank you.

To put this in a slightly different context, let's say I start a thread stating that I'm ready to work for a company as a world class worker. I'm an excellent worker looking to make north of 200k...... would you call me?

See how that works, I've stated my wants/ desires without giving any real reason for a prospective employer to give me the time of day.... no skin in the game.
Good Luck.
