Hello Forum Folks
I have a Avenger 250 MT With subspindle.
This machine was stored for 6 months and lost its memory. I sent the board to Siemens and hade the programs put back in and a new battery.
When I start the machine I get the error "AXIS NOT ALIGNED" The Control and Hydraulics are on but I cant control anything to follow the Axis alignment procedure in the manuals. The only thing that works is the work light and the chuck foot pedal.
The people at siemens are out of ideas and MAC wasn't much help either. I triple checked the Comissioning data and MTB Data with the History records and checked to make sure Siemens intall the right program and all looks good.
I checked the I/O and it matches The Electrical Prints. All homing proxes and switches are working and showing up in the diagnostics of the Acramatic controller.
Every other time I try to restart, the X-axis Fauls Over current. (I believe its trying to make a move with the brake on). I thought maybe the X-motor resolver was bad from moving the machine (jarred) so I sent it in for testing. The motor and resolver tested fine and the resolver is aligned to the rotor. I also swaped the X and W axis module (identical modules)with no change. I also ohmed out the resolver cables and all looks good.
Im not real familiar with this machine. I bought it for $5000 and have $3000 stuck into it. I bought it from a place where I watched it run so I know i did work so It either has to be from programming or moving or My lack of knowlege. I dont know much about this Type of controller. Please can someone help. I want to make something bad....![]()
