Hello men, hope you all don't get tired of this help ID threads.... But I have this dividing head with no nameplate or info anywhere, it's a 12" with 8" chuck . Any input will be appreciated. I'm more curious than anything but would like to keep my eyes open for more plates, I've always been able to utilize this one but know the day will come where I'll need another

Looks alot like a KempSmith I used 25 years ago,it had a bolt on PTO that engaged a bevel gear under the plate for universal use.I have some extra plates for brown and Sharpe type, they are approx 5" die I'm guessing. What diameter is the plate on yours?

Thanks boomerang, I did some quick searching on kempsmith , didn't see anything that looked like this, but that doesn't mean it isn't , these plates are in the 7" range, I need to pull sectors off to see how it attaches ( center hole size, mounting hole pattern etc) its currently set up for a job right now but will post pics of that arrangement soon

I think that is a Kempsmith.. Think I saw one on Adam Booth's youtube channel Abom 79 that looked like that and he referred to as a Kempsmith.....Ramsay 1:)

Thanks Ramsay, if I remember, he has a lot of Videos to watch. But that's two for kempsmith

Ray, I would take what you have specifically a crank and rods for sure. I have yet to split mine open but I am going to have to as I am having problems with my main compressor. This one is just a light use back up. have a small knock at higher pressures, and had a good accumulation of fine metal when I drained crankcase.
