    Default G & L 350T Max Table Weight Capacity

Can anyone advise me of the maximum table weight capacity of a Giddings & Lewis 350T? Its table is 72" x 48" with single outriggers.

    Many thanks.

G&L is still very much alive and well in Fon-du-Lac Wisconsin, USA. Google the name and drop them an email. I'm sure they will be very helpful.

    10tons allegedly...

I wouldn't put much more than 5 on it

and that is "equally distributed across the ways (hence why I said not more than 5)

If it had a pair of 8 X 72 ways (not counting out riggers) 10 tons would add less than 18 pounds per square inch on the ways.

    I have a G & L 350T, but my table is 84" x 48", and I think the most I have put on it is about 6 tons.
