An interesting problem came up yesterday while I was visiting a customer.

A foaming issue came up in on of their machines. They are using the same coolant throughout the entire facility and this certain machine was foaming. They have been using carpet defoamer by the case for several months and finally decided to do something about it. :hitsthefan:

Because this machine was the only one foaming, we knew it was not the coolant's problem. After hours of brainstorming, we looked at the manual only to find out that this machine had a through spindle coolant pressure of around 150 psi higher than all the others. It took less than 10 minutes to fix and this morning there was not a bubble of foam coming out of the machine.

Just something to think about if this ever happens to anyone.
