This is about a Hurco CNC lathe, about 2 years old, I do not know the control model.
I am very familiar with most Fanuc, Yasnac, type programming, also with a few Centroid controls.
Its been many years since I touched a Hurco.
How close is todays Hurco G-Code programming to Fanuc?.
Also, is the setup similar?
Any advice is greatly appreciated, the machine is stuck on a truck from CA to here in Ohio, this great snow had something to do with it, but it will show up sooner or later and I would like to be as ready as I can.
If anyone has a short program, it would help greatly.

It reads code much like an 0t, The canned cycles are a little goofey though. Say you want to use a g8X cycle. the Z final depth must be a positive value calculated from the R plane for example if you just wanted to go .5 deep then the code would read

TXXXX
M3S500
G00 X0Z.1
G81 Z.6 F10.0
G80

first time I tried I used regular canned cycle and spindle tried drilling in the positive direction. also the control will not save tool length offsets when powered down in ISO mode.
