I have an SL-20 lathe with a parts catcher arm. The arm swings on a vertical pivot (path of the arm is parallel to the floor). It works fine and it actuated by a pneumatic rotary actuator of some kind.
The problem is that it hits the chuck jaws when fully extended. It probably works fine with a collet nose, but I would like to use it with the chuck. Does anyone know if you can adjust the stroke to keep it from hitting the jaws?
