anilam 3300 keyboard problem/bootup

Hello, can anyone help me to sort out my 3 axis anilam 3300m on a bedmill, on startup i get as far as "press F10 to continue", then nothing(locks up). however, if i connect computer keyboard directly into main processor cabinet i can then get machine to start , but to get servo reset( no keys on computer keyboard to do that) to work i then have to plug the original front monitor/keyboard in again and all seems fine! What does the 3v lithium battery on input panel board do, it's a a soldered in cr1/2aa 3v varta , could it have anything to do with this problem,another anilam 3300 3 axis mill i had it, it was a coin type battery and easy to replace, then the dates on programs seemed to work again!) I have already replaced the 2 front keyboards (F functions and main keys) , a new interface board also( no help) , plugginga keryboard into auxilary computer input on front cabinet/monitor doesn't help , any suggestions please?
