Hey guys, tomorrow I will replacing the x axis encoder on my Matsuura, I figure while I have the covers off I may as well try adjusting the backlash, if it is even possible. Any insight into this? Its a 1984 unit, I just bought it for a song and a dance, the previous owners/shop hit the x axis encoder with a forklift fork and smashed the glass disk inside, my new encoder shows up tomorrow.
