Nakamura Tome slant drip feed etc

Hello.. new to this website, have been reading for quite sometime...
I will be adding a lathe soon to the shop. I found an older nakamura slant 2, i believe an 85 with a fanuc 10t control.. it has a rs232 port.. Who has experience on these.? should i worry about the age, can it be drip fed from the 232 ?.
what kind of memory did they have? and if anyone has owned one, are they a reliable and good machine for my first lathe? were there problem areas?

I dont know much about the machine,but i dont think you need to dripfeed programs to it.
Programs for lathes are usually not that much code in so it dont fit the memory.

right.. just thinking a machine that old might be lacking memory.. maybe i can fit a flash setup to it...
anyone know these machines?
