They use to produce the majority of parts in the USA and the quality was pretty good. Now they sold out for big profits and deliver inferior quality from CHINA! We have a 2 year old VF-2 and we are on the 3rd jog handle! And what about the leaking, running on coolant after it stops? How about a $10 check valve. I'll never buy another HAAS. Buy American America!

If i am not mistaken that behind that little jog handle is an off the shelf encoder pulser. An electronic component of which nearly all are made in china now.

I love it when people buy a "cheap" machine and then bitch about what a p.o.s. it is.

Buy a high end machine next time.

I own 2 haas's and love them, they've made me plenty of money and paid for themselves many times over.
