Calculating tapping for 4 40 helicoil

Hello.
I have a bunch of holes that will get a 4 40 helicoil. Can you please tell me how to calculate the feeds and speeds for it and where to get the tap. Do they make forming taps for this. The material is 101 OFE

You want a 4-40 STI tap. Should be easy to find once you know the STI keyword.

I would stay away from roll form taps on Heli-Coils. They tend to cause installation issues.
If you have a choice use Kato inserts IMO they are way better than Heli-Coil Inserts. They install and remove much better.
If you want to calculate speeds the major diameter info is in the Heli-Coil book.
