Mori Seiki Alarms

Hello All,
We Got A Mori Seiki AL-2B CNC Lathe In From Long Term Storage
We Are Getting The Following 6 alarms:

SV005 X EXCESS DISCHARGE
SV005 Y EXCESS DISCHARGE

(is this the batteries for the absolute pulse coders?)

SV013 X IMPROPER V_READY OFF
SV013 Y IMPROPER V_READY OFF

(is this the incoming voltage?)

OT032 X NEED ZRN(ABS PCDR)
OT032 Y NEED ZRN(ABS PCDR)

(is this due to low batteries?)

We don't have the manuals so any help troubleshooting/clearing these alarms is greatly appreciated!

There are basic descriptions of all the alarms you have listed.
Check all the fuses first. There are bunches too. Hit all the resets on the 3 phase contactors in the magnetics cabinet. They, on mine have a gray colored thin button that is directly below the contactor terminals. Maybe this will get you started.

I have seen this on my machines. The problem I had was with the pulse coder loosing its position. Check your pulse coders for phiscial connection and no oil as the pulse coders are usually mounted were the waylube recovery guards are.
