I saw these Arno Shark cut multitools in the travers catalog and they look super useful to me for small flat bottom pockets in a cnc lathe.

SHARK-Cut - Drilling - ARNO USA

But the price! Travers has them listed for nearly $400 for the smallest ones.

Are these any good and does anyone make them for a reasonable price?

The ARNO tool is made by Ceratizit. It is known as the EcoCut by them. It has been around for a long time, but it does work well. I have a good bit of experience with them since they are sold by my company. They are a really good short depth ID boring tool.
