Have a cnc lathe job coming up and I'm going to need some custom step drills made, preferably carbide.

Can anyone point me in a direction to where I could get these quoted/made?

There are 3 different diameters they will have to drill, .328, .440 & .625 diameter, so they're not really big.

Thanks

Try Mohawk Special tools, not sure if this is same company that I have used in the past but may be a start for you.

Try Step Drills Unlimited. As the name implies, they make step drills. They're in So Cal somewhere.

They must be decent if still around. I have the address in a personal phone book that probably hasn't had an entry in 20+ years. I must have used them ages ago.

P.S. I think that area code is probably 562 now.

And by way of compare and contrast, make sure to try AB Tools. ( California, but don't hold it against them ) Several of the guys are members here. You can ask for Alfred or Jon.
