Anyone heard of a Dianechi lathe?

Owner raves about it but I have never heard of this brand, nor can I google up a match.

The spelling may be different, FWIW.

    Thanks.

Well that was one way of spelling it I didn't try.

Thanks, has anyone used one of their lathes or have any feedback?

We had 2 in our shop and although I know little about them ( mill man), the machinists liked them and they ran trouble free.

I have installed several of them in the past. They are pretty nice machines. Fanuc control, servo feed. Looks like an engine lathe. You can crank handles and run it like an engine lathe if you wish. Programing is supposedly easy and has some teach/conversational type of screens if I recall.

If those are too expensive look for a Hankook. Almost an exact copy of them. But the support, unless it has come a long way, is a litle weak on the Hankooks.
