Default drip into a fanuc o-mate

Has anyone ever drip feed on a fanuc o-mate m control? It doesn't have a remote button. I have been told you can drip feed on it. All I can do is send and recieve into the memory.

From what I've read on 0 controls, the RS232 connection was an option. Look for a PM.

In some cases an external switch has to be connected to a PMC input to set register G127.5 to 1. and the mode switch set to AUTO
IOW it may need a ladder change/addition for this.
Tried including a pdf but only allows small files?

You could always just call Methods Machine Tool's service department and ask. They've been really kind abut helping out with things like that.

Does the main mode switch have a 'tape' function?

Can you go into the operators panel showing the various mode switches (single block, dry run etc) and it shows a DNC option?

If not, then it has to be turned on via the register switch

Usually the OEM fits an external switch that sets the G register bit on, this is a register in the PMC (ladder) that is read by the CNC side to indicate DNC mode.
Generally you require an integrator that can modify the ladder for you.
