Hi, I am looking at buying a small machining centre set-up with a 4th axis rotary table.

The local dealer guys have given me a quote for a Chevalier QP1620 machine that is made in Taiwan.

Is there anyone out there who owns or has used one of these, and can advise on whether it's a worthwhile option, or not.......?

Thanks,

Dean.

I have trained shops on a number of the Chevalier mills here, all of them have been of good quality.
In my opinion, as a group, the Taiwanese machines are of good quality.
Good luck. All the mill examples on my website should fit exactly into your machine.
If this is aused machine, make sure to see it run, listen to the sounds of motions, see the toolchange, etc.
