I am helping a gentlemen in my spare time with his dynapath system 20. The machine works and he had everything rebuilt on it. He is an older machinist and does not know anything about the cnc world. I am trying to put programs into the controller and I am having difficulty on importing files from the computer to the controller. He has a shoplink flash 2.0 for data transport and I have found how to send files but either the machine is not taking the files or the flash 2.0 isn't finding the files on the usb drive. The next thing that I was going to do since I could not get that to work was to put the G code in by hand but I could not find the screen on where to do that. I have found the conversational part on the controller but I am lost on it. Any input on how to either type a program into it directly or how to import files via rs-232 port would be greatly appreciated.
